A Training Order for the Sincere Seeker
We are not a publisher or a lodge in the ordinary sense. We are a training order, devoted to teaching working magic to those who intend to walk the path, not merely read about it.
We train seekers in a craft that is both old and living: historical texts recovered faithfully, and new material developed and tested in practice.
The Magic Society of the White Flame exists for a single purpose: to train sincere seekers in working magic. We draw on the operative traditions of the Near East, the letter and number sciences, the talismanic arts, and the broader currents of Western esotericism, and we carry that craft forward in the hands of those who will actually practice it.
A training order is not a bookshop and not a club. It is a course of instruction. For more than two decades we have taught this craft and worked with its source material: grimoires of jinn evocation, the letter-sciences of the Arabic alphabet, the talismanic magic of the magic squares, and the seal-and-spell work of the old sorcerers. Alongside that recovery, we have developed new methods of our own.
Old Currents, Living Practice
The craft we teach draws on several deep currents. The operative magic of the Near East: the science of the divine names, the angels and jinn assigned to each working, the talismanic geometry of the magic squares. The letter and number sciences worked by figures like al-Buni and Ibn Arabi. And the broader streams of Western esotericism that have shaped how this work is understood and practiced today.
But we are not re-enactors. We do not simply copy what the old masters left behind. We study the historical sources faithfully, and then we build on them, developing, testing, and teaching methods that meet the seeker where they actually stand. We treat magic not as self-expression, but as operation: a craft with mechanisms, lineages, and results.
Some of the material we work with has never appeared in English. Some of what we teach has never existed before at all. Part of our charge is to preserve what deserves preserving and to advance what can be advanced, because a tradition that only looks backward eventually stops living.
This is where the work of a training order becomes concrete.
Three Ways We Teach the Craft
Our training reaches seekers through three connected forms. Each stands on its own, and together they form a complete course of instruction.
The Books
Our written foundation extends across a vast library of books, courses, and manuscripts, totaling more than a hundred thousand pages of material. Among the titles are Magic That Works, called by one published occultist a historic event in modern magic, the Occult Encyclopedia of Magick Squares, and the grimoires of al-Toukhi. These are the texts seekers return to again and again as their practice deepens.
The Video Courses
Complete, structured video courses carry seekers through the craft in depth, demonstrated, explained, and taught step by step. Where a book shows you the working, the courses walk you through it, so nothing is left to guesswork.
Work Made for You Alone
Beyond the books and courses that anyone may study, we prepare work made for a single seeker alone. A reading of your own Jinn Qareen. A personalized report on your Holy Guardian Angel. Wealth and protection workings built around your name and your circumstances rather than a general formula. Alongside these, talismanic canvases and consecrated tools give the craft a physical form. This is the work that exists for you and no one else.
I did not stumble into this work. I was raised at its edge. My father was an initiate of the Qadiri Sufi order and a magician in his own right, and the Arabic tradition was part of the air of my childhood. I began my own practice in my teens, and I had my share of encounters with the jinn before I was old enough to fully understand what I was dealing with.
Later I went looking further afield. I joined the Golden Dawn and worked its system for several years before I left it. What I found, in the end, was that the deepest and most operative material was the tradition I had started in: the Arabic craft of names, spirits, letters, and squares, alive and working in a way the Western revival rarely matched. So I came back to it, and I set out to teach it, and to build on it.
That is the short version. There is a great deal I do not share publicly, and I will keep it that way. But understand this much: everything we teach, I have either worked myself or learned from those who carried it before me. I will not promise you that the craft is easy, or that it replaces effort. I promise only that what you find here is real, taught honestly, and placed in your hands without apology.

Why the White Flame
The White Flame is not the first fire. It is the fire that remains after all the lesser fires have burned themselves out: desire refined into purpose, knowledge refined into wisdom, power refined into service. It is not the spark that begins the journey, but the flame that emerges when the work has been done and the dross has been consumed.
We understand this flame not as ordinary fire but as stellar fire, the radiance the old Mesopotamians knew as melammu: the shining splendor of gods, temples, and kings. It carries the royal star-brilliance the Babylonians saw in Marduk, lord of order and victorious creation, and the priestly righteousness later traditions gave to Melchizedek, the king-priest of blessing and consecrated authority.
We do not claim the name descends from ancient Sumer. We claim its meaning. The White Flame is our standard. It is the reminder that this craft, like any real power, can be turned to many ends, and that its true purpose is to refine the one who practices it, not merely to bend the world around them. The seeker who keeps that fire is the one this order exists to train.
